Dear Community Members,
We wish to inform you that due to the upcoming demolition of the Qenos Olefines and Polythene facilities, noise monitoring will be occurring around Hillsdale and Eastgardens to establish background noise levels for the project.
What will this look like?
Renzo Tonin – an acoustic engineering consultant – already have existing sample points throughout the neighborhood but need two more to complete their required report for Council. These additional two ‘noise loggers’ are to be placed at two residents’ addresses (with their consent), for a period of 7-14 days from May 5th.

Who does this impact?
An associate from RenzoTonin will be door knocking through-out this week (28th April to 2nd May) to convey the technical and security information directly to residents in possible sampling areas, as well as seeking the necessary consent to install the noise loggers.
